ABOUT ASWALK FESTIVAL
ASWALK Festival (Appearance & Skin Walk Festival) is a community-led, travelling platform dedicated to advancing appearance positivity and psychosocial well-being for people living with skin conditions, visible differences, and appearance-related concerns.
Convened by The Appearance Positive (TAP), ASWALK Festival brings together lived experience, culture, arts, dialogue, movement, and storytelling to challenge stigma, reshape narratives, and create spaces of visibility, dignity, and belonging.
ASWALK Festival’s programmes include the Africa Appearance Summit (AAS), MASK OFF WALK community visibility actions held in different cities, and other participatory initiatives rooted in culture and collective presence.
ASWALK Festival is based in Nigeria and designed to grow thoughtfully across Africa.
